MY HEARTFELT INTENTION
Simply Gather Stories was founded on the belief that many of us are seeking more opportunities to gather in meaningful ways and have richer experiences. Where our presence matters, ideas are freely exchanged and diverse viewpoints are valued. Where we may find others who appreciate our unique story… even the one we think is too ordinary to share, but actually is the story someone needed to hear.
To see that it’s far better to be on the journey together than alone.
My vision is to create inclusive, collaborative settings that awaken and enliven the art of gathering. Inviting spaces that spark curiosity, inspire deeper dialogue and offer elements of discovery and delight. To highlight a variety of themes, from profound and provocative to enlightening and entertaining, and bring together interesting guests for dynamic conversations. To encourage thoughtful, generative engagement that strengthens connection and expands our awareness of what we imagine is possible.
In essence, to hold gatherings that nourish minds, hearts and souls.
WHY WE GATHER
Our social fabric has become torn creating more distance, division and isolation. As a society, we’re virtually more connected than ever, but we’re lacking the depth of physical presence that generates emotional resonance — the strong, relatable feelings we experience when we gather with our full presence and allow ourselves to be truly seen, heard and understood. Where we can find ourselves in each other’s stories.
When the potential of true connection unfolds, a sense of community effortlessly emerges.
To counter the deficits of our modern world, with its uncertainties and assaults on our humanity, we need embodied presence. And gathering with intention is one of the most enriching ways to realize the common ground we share, while enhancing our collective social and emotional well-being. When we acknowledge the value of our personal narratives, we are giving voice to what’s deeply human in ourselves and others.
This builds a foundation of mutual respect, understanding and belonging.
THE ADDED VALUE
One conversation can change everything. Authentic in-person exchanges often have unexpected and transformative outcomes, and these positive effects influence every corner of our lives. When we come together with generosity and vulnerability, the illusion of separateness begins to dissolve and we let down the built-up defenses that tend to keep us isolated from one another.
We recognize that even with our differences, we all share the same fundamental life experiences: the joys and the sorrows, the successes and the setbacks, the loves and the losses.

It was a privilege to moderate the conversation of three amazing artists who generously shared unique insights from their creative journeys.
"Survivor to Thriver: A Woman's Journey of Hope, Healing and Transformation"
Ellen Busch, an author and trauma survivor, shared her inspirational story and journey of healing. She was joined by two practitioners in the trauma recovery space.
GOING FORWARD...
I’m inspired by what we’ve manifested with clarity and intention. By taking the seed of an idea, nurturing it and bringing the vision to life, we created what I believe is not only relevant, but needed — immersive experiences that remind us of the interconnection we share.
We’re planning new events that will continue to feature thought-provoking themes and engaging guests in dynamic conversations. We’ll also be exploring possibilities for holding gatherings in creative ways that further enhance and celebrate connection, community and the stories that awaken the human spirit.
My deep gratitude to all the amazing individuals who have generously shared their time, knowledge and enthusiasm to make Simply Gather Stories a reality.
